Many will require full time residential care as their disease progresses. Traditional nursing and assisted living facilities fail to meet the complex needs of these individuals. This lack of options imposes extreme burdens on families and reduces quality of life for individuals with PD.
We are going to change that.
PuSH for PD is dedicated to creating a Parkinson's Supportive Living Residence, staffed by caregivers specifically trained in PD care management.
This unique assisted living residence will provide a positive environment for individuals and their families and will work to influence the broader community's understanding of PD care.
